Need Help with Expanding Sentences?

I think helping my kiddos learn to expand their sentences has been one of my most favorite activities this year. Don’t get me wrong! We still have a long way to go, but they really like writing descriptive sentences.

Here is a freebie I used. Start by giving your students a sentence stem. They add one part at a time to the stem to expand the sentence. End up with pics to illustrate the sentence.
