Practice Problem Solving Strategies

All Freebies

Practice problemm solving strategies: make a table, make a list, act it out, draw a picture, write a number sentence, find a pattern, guess and check, work backwards. Getting students to understand the various problem solving strategies can be difficult.  However, I used these sheets with my kids today with a lot of success.  We worked through one problem together, solving it using all six different methods.  Then, students worked together to go through a different problem.  Download four different sheets, each with the same format but a different problem, from my Teachers Pay Teachers store. Thank you for sharing this! I love having different strategies all on the same page so students can see that they all get the same answer.
