Have you heard of PQA?  It stands for Putting the Questions in the Answers. As we work on getting our students to answer in complete sentences, we teach them that strategy.  I’ve struggled to find good, open ended passages and questions that are appropriate for my second graders when we practice, so I designed some myself.  I have two different ones for free (fiction, and non-fiction.  Just click the picture below to come get them for yourself.
