Try a Creative Assessment to Practice Critical-Thinking Skills With my Comic Strip Templates.
Comic strip templates work for any subject or content area. Have students explain what they’ve learned in a comic they’ve created. In my literature units I have students choose a scene from the chapter and recreate it in a comic strip. (I tell them stick figures are perfectly fine so they know it’s not their artwork I’m focusing on, but the content.) It helps students visualize the events and process the dialogue.
Use it in history to recall historical events or in science to have them demonstrate a lab or process. It’s a fun way to bring some creativity into your lesson!
Have a great week!
