I wrote the story of Madame Periwinkle, a kindly witch, who finds her recipe card cut into strips.
She’s very distraught and hopes your students can put the story back into the correct sequential order before Halloween night, so she can serve her brew to all the trick and treaters. Your students have to also draw pictures of things described in the story, like Madame Periwinkle’s black cat, Mr. Stanley T. Babbit, who’s described as wearing a periwinkle colored hat with a golden half moon on it and others.
