Do you do a scarecrow theme in October? Since all of the hype over Halloween, some schools have switched to a harvest theme. Scarecrows fit in well with that. I’ve used them in this packet to review shapes.
Students read the simple and repetitive sentence, trace and write the shape word, then trace and draw the shape.
The last page shows that the scarecrow’s favorite nose is a triangle, and asks what theirs is. I’ve included a graphing extension for that.
