I saw this idea done on blue glass balls. Making keepsake Christmas ornaments with my kiddos, is something I do each year, so I revamped the cute 3D ball idea and made a paper pattern.
It’s much easier, safer and cheaper too! For that finishing touch, I used aluminum foil for the “topper” and some flat-backed “jewels”.
To ensure that parents know that the snowmen were made from their child’s fingerprints, I wrote a little poem that children can color. There’s 3 on a page for quick printing.
If you’re all set for December activities, simply do this on a blue sheet of construction paper for January. Add “snowflakes” with a Q-tip, sprinkle with opalescent glitter while the paint is wet, and you have a lovely snow scene.
