Are you looking for some quick, easy and fun keepsake Christmas crafts for your kiddos?
If so, I think you’ll enjoy these reindeer-themed ones.
Antler hand prints and reindeer “foot” heads, make adorable Rudolphs. There are a variety of options in the packet, including a “slider” that helps students review patterning, as well as 2D shapes.
A brown paper lunch bag is perfect for whole group assessing spatial directions. Students hold their puppet in the correct position, as you call out behind, above, beside, between etc. You can also line kiddos up with their paper bag puppets, and review counting and ordinal numbers.
Another way to practice counting forwards, backwards, plus skip counting by 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, or 10’s, is with the You Can Count On Rudoph booklet. Simply choose the “nose” you want to practice and then run off the pattern. Students trace and write the numbers, trim, sequence and collate into Rudoph’s nose booklet.
