Here’s a quick, easy and fun Mother’s Day writing prompt craftivity. Simply cut strips of rainbow colored construction paper on a paper cutter.
Students pick one of each color and fold them in half.
As a group, brainstorm ways moms color our world with love. Jot these on the board to aid in spelling.
Children write how their mom does that on each strip of paper. They open the folded strip, rub glue on the inside and fold it over a piece of yarn to make a “dangler”.
For that finishing touch, glue a school photo on the heart pattern. Younger students can dictate to a room helper or older reading buddy.
