Moms are something to tweet about: Mother’s Day writing prompt craft

All Freebies

“A sweet tweet” is a cute 3D bird craftivity that’s also a quick, easy and fun writing prompt Mother’s Day card.

Students write why their mom is special (something to tweet about) on the back of the bird.  Include a school photo to make it even more of a keepsake.

Accordion folding the legs is a wonderful fine motor skill and adds that finishing touch. The wing is 3-dimensional and a flap.  The little “Happy Mother’s Day” tag is tied on too.
