You Are My Sunshine Mother’s Day Writing Prompt Craftivity

This adorable Mother’s Day sunflower card doubles as a writing prompt for older students.

Children color their sunflower,
trim and then glue to a sheet of construction paper.
Students glue
their photo to the “hinged” circle that covers the inside sentiment: You are my sunshine! 

Older students can complete the writing prompt: My mom brings sunshine to my life….on the back of their picture. I’ve provided a template for that as well.
