This apple matching game is inexpensive to make, as they sell clip-on clothespins at The Dollar Store.
Print
off an upper and lowercase apple using two different colors of
construction paper, add a leaf and stem, laminate and trim. Clip the
clothespins to your apple and write uppercase letters on one side in
red, and lowercase letters in black, on the other side.
Store your
clothespins with the apples in a large Zip-lock Baggie. Also included: A
note home to send with a struggling child, for more one-on-one work, as
well as a reminder note if a child fails to return the game, + an apple
alphabet anchor chart, so students can self-check their work.
