ABC Trace & Write Emergent Reader Booklet

All Freebies· PK-2

Review Common Core State Reading Standards: RF:K.1d and RF:K.3c + CCSS: L.1.1a with this packet.

My Y5’s LOVE “Trace & Write” worksheets!

The “ABC Trace & Write Emergent Reader Booklet”
can be used as individual worksheets for table top, early finishers,
homework, a sub folder; or staple together to make a booklet, that
kiddos work on when you cover a particular letter.

Whatever letter of the day/week you are working on, have students complete that page.  My kiddos enjoyed these worksheets so much, they always asked to do more than one page!

Great way to show
improvement in a portfolio too. Students can color the large letters and pictures as well, helping strengthen finger muscles.

Make an extra set and put in your “Write & Wipe” binder that I posted about a few days ago.

Completed booklets make a nice keepsake too.  When everyone is done, read as a whole-group, to reinforce concepts of print.
