Insta-Writer’s Workshop Lesson!

All Freebies

This is one of my favorite ways to kick off Writer’s Workshop.

I usually spend two days on this simple lesson. On day one, we fill up the LOVE side with all of our favorite people, places, things, and memories. On day two, we add the DETEST side and fill it up with the things that make us scared, sad, worried, and angry.
I encourage the kids to draw an icon or small picture for each item to make the idea “stick.” When we come back to these maps throughout the year for writing ideas, they have a huge vault of possibilities!
I’m linking you straight to the freebie on TpT. Just click on either of the photos in this post. Or, pin the image below and come back to it when you need it!

Happy Writing!
