It’s hard to believe right now, while it’s still so warm in so many places, but Fall is right around the corner. If you live someplace where the leaves change colors, now is the time to start gathering them up for Fall art projects.
I used to have kids bring in leaves they found near their homes. We would pile them up in the middle of the table, and everyone took turns picking one and using good adjectives to describe it.
Here is a free Fall vocabulary activity, using leaves and pumpkins to practice synonyms and antonyms. It’s a great little activity that combines practicing the fine motor skills of cutting and the language skills, too.
Have fun with words and…. Keep on Talking!
