Teaching Diverse Winter Holidays to English Language Learners

All Freebies

Free, differentiated winter holiday packet on Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza and Diwali for ESL or ELL students from Raki's Rad Resources.
Teaching students about the different holidays that are celebrated in the winter months is important no matter what population you teach. However, if you teach a high English Langauge Learner population, you increase the probability that you will have students who celebrate different holidays or celebrate holidays in different ways. This increases the importance of teaching about different holidays. Since very lesson with ESL students should include vocabulary, I created a Winter Holiday Vocabulary Packet that goes over key vocabulary for Christmas, Haunkkah, Kwanza and Diwali. Download this free, differentiated packet today from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
