“I Love You To Pieces!” Writing Prompt Craft

All Freebies· PK-2

“I love you to pieces” is a super-fun “rip & tear” craftivity that will help strengthen those finger muscles.

Simply print the worksheet and cut strips out of a variety of colors
of construction paper.  Children choose their colors, then rip the
strips into smaller squares.

Using a glue stick, they rub glue over a large section of their
heart, then press a torn square of paper on top, continuing ’til they
have filled up their heart.  My students absolutely LOVE doing these,
and completed projects turn out quite awesome.

I’ve specifically left this generic, so you can use the template for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Grandparents Day.

Older students can write WHY they love that peson so much, on the back of their “card”.

Click on the link to zip on over to my blog where the “I love you to pieces” craftivity is today’s featured FREEBIE.
