One of my favorite traditions with my kids at home is to create a time capsule box on New Year’s Eve to open one year later. It’s fun to see how each kid has grown and changed over the year. This year I created a simple questionnaire for them to fill out and put in our box.
This questionnaire can be used for a variety of ages – younger students can dictate for someone else to write. You can easily use it at home with your own kids or at school with your students! You can even send the papers home in an envelope with a note on it that says: “Open on December 31, 2019” (or whatever the current year is.) So that way, students can put it in a safe spot at home and enjoy opening it the next year with their families. It’s always good for us to think about the year and make goals, no matter how simple!
