What’s included in the geometry vocabulary game?
The free PowerPoint includes 153 slides formatted into a “Ready, Set, Show” game format. Students read the question when they see the “Ready” slide, write down their answer when they see the “Set” slide, and show/say their answer when they see the “Show” slide.
Four editable slides are included with activity instructions so you can revise the activity expectations as needed.
What materials do I need?
This freebie is formatted as a PowerPoint show, so you’ll need PowerPoint, a computer, and a way to project the slides. The activity was originally created for students to participate with white boards and Expo markers, but you can also have students shout out answers. Just change the editable slides to match your expectations.
What geometry vocabulary is covered?
This activity includes:
- Quadrilaterals
- Other Polygons: pentagon, hexagon, octagon
- Lines, rays, points, line segments
- Types of angles
- Types of triangles
- 3-D Shapes
Can this geometry review be used as a Google Slides activity?
Since this PowerPoint consists of secured images on almost every slide, it can be uploaded into Google Slides and will look almost exactly the same as the PowerPoint version.
The only difference you will find is the font on the editable introduction slides (see picture below) and the practice question slides. Because this is not a Google font and the text is not secured in order to keep select slides editable, the words on the editable slides will need to be changed to a Google font of your liking.
