NOTE: This post was originally written a few years ago and it talks about community supplies. While that isn’t feasible today, you could use the same idea below to create individual supply cups for each student that are seasonal and fun!
So, I thought this was such a cute idea that I saw on Pinterest (of course) but I hadn’t seen it done in the classroom.
I also know that I love to switch things up for special occasions or seasons, but don’t like to go overboard in the decorations. Not to mention a little thing most teachers also must abide by called: living on a teacher’s salary.
So redoing your classroom theme every month is not really feasible either.
Check out the video to see how easy this is (along with the secret item you need to make it that you don’t see in the picture) and let me know in the comments what you could use this idea for in your own classroom?
Materials you will need:
- A muffin tin (used is fine)
- 2×4 Labels – Clear or White
- Plastic Cups – Any color works great!
- Magnets that were mentioned in the video to keep the cups sitting in the tins correctly
Oh yeah – and don’t forget to grab the freebie labels file (with 3 blank ones also supplied for your customization pleasure).
Enjoy!
