Custom sticky notes in the classroom? That might sound difficult to pull off. What could you even use them for? It might even sound expensive.
Believe it or not, there are way more uses for them in your classroom than you might think! You can use on windows for brain dump sticky note thinking, student desktops, to-do lists, use them for origami projects (those are pretty fun!), cooperative learning, exit slips for assessment, and pretty much every curriculum idea you have out there!

How To Make Custom Sticky Notes
It’s a lot easier than you think! The best part with personalized sticky notes is that you can change the font and content to make a cute and cheap learning tool which is perfect for your own classroom of students!

Materials needed:
- Some 3×3 sticky notes
- Template {grab the free one at the end of this post}
- Printer

Step One:
After choosing the designs you wish to use, add your sticky notes to a blank template.

Step Two:
Place the page back into the paper carrier, making sure it is facing down if your printer prints on the opposite side as it pulls through.

Step Three:
Grab your page out of the printer and start sticking!

Here are some FREE reading stickies for students to write down summaries, vocabulary, characters, and more while reading independently! {Scroll to the bottom of this post to grab it!}

Who doesn’t love playing “Find Someone Who”? Pass out the post-its randomly and have students walk around the room asking each person the classroom whether he or she matches the description on the post-it. If so, their name gets added.
Students continue through the room until the time is up.
Afterwards, a few selected children get to share what they found out and how classmates are more alike then they may have though previously. {Scroll to the bottom of this post to grab this template for FREE!}
