Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Broken Heart? Try These Opposites from Susan Berkowitz, slp

All Freebies

Did you start the New Year with my pairs of synonyms?
Well, this month we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with antonyms.
If you have a broken heart you might be feeling kind of contrary.  So celebrate vocabulary with these broken heart opposites.
There are 16 hearts that you cut in half. Students match the opposites to ‘mend’ the hearts.  It’s a quick and fun activity to round off a therapy session or provide lively interaction at a literacy center.

Where ever you use it, students will have fun with words.
Keep on Talking!
