We all know that English doesn’t follow its own rules. We wish it did. Teaching would be much easier.
As a teacher, it’s our job to get students to know and apply phonics rules in isolation and as they are reading. Because there are so many rules, and they don’t always work, we need little tips and tricks to help our kiddos learn and remember the rules.
