Tortoise and the Hare Response Packet

After almost 2 weeks with almost no internet, I finally have reliable internet!!  Yeah!!  Since I had almost no internet access (unless you count sitting in an internet café trying to balance working on the computer and getting 3 kids to sit still), I decided to take a little time to get ready for the summer camp program I am teaching in next week.  I will be teaching kids who have students with very limited English and we will be using the story of the Tortoise and the Hare to catch their attention and work on reading, writing, and vocabulary all at the same time.  We’re going to put on a play, sing some songs, do crafts and cooking.  But, I also put together this cute 20 page packet that we are going to work through a little at a time.  It includes a cloze word activity, word work for opposites and descriptive writing activities.  If you’d like a copy, feel free to grab it FREE from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
