Highlighted Spelling Paper

All Freebies

Using highlighted paper is one strategy our Occupational Therapists recommend to improve student handwriting.  The use of highlighted paper helps students with letter-size differentiation (making tall letters tall, small letters small).   You can purchase highlighted paper commerically; however, we haven’t been able to find highlighted paper designed specifically for spelling tests.  I created this file just for this purpose.
Come on over to the Make, Take & Teach Strategies for Improving Handwriting blog post to pick up this freebie.  Check out other strategies for improving handwriting too!

Thank you! I have been working with a child who has difficulty with letter-size differentiation and was not sure what else I could do to help him. I can not wait to introduce him to highlight paper.
