These games are a quick, easy and fun way to review shapes and shape words.
The
packet includes a “Where’s Johnny Appleseed? game, where you hide the
Johnny card under one of the shape “flip up” apples on your white board
or flannel board. Students guess where they think he is hiding. This
is a simple way to reinforce the shapes and their names.
I’ve also
included mini cards to play Memory Match and “I Have; Who Has?” games; plus larger cards to print off and use as anchor chart posters, or cut them apart and then cut off the words to make puzzles for an independent shape center.
