I enjoy using a “play on words” to create special cards. With that in mind I used a strawberry theme for this “berry” special writing prompt craft.
It’s very versatile, because I’ve included templates children can complete to make a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Grandparent’s Day card. There’s also a generic pattern to fit any special person.
I made a sample of the 3D strawberry leaves, as well as one, where the leaves are the hand prints of the child.
Older students can complete the writing prompt of why that person is special on the inside of the card.
If you’re set for those occasions, but are still looking for a little something to give your kiddos at the end of the year, then you can use the “Wishing you a ‘berry’ special summer, just like you!”
There’s also a template you can use for back to school: Wishing you a ‘berry’ special year. Attach a berry-flavored juice box or packet of wild berry skittles and you’re done.
