Whether you call them fireflies or, like we do here in NJ, lightning bugs, they are fascinating to all ages! Put that high interest factor to good use by introducing this math center activity.
Your students will match pictures of lightning bugs going in and out of jars with the appropriate number sentence for addition or subtraction.
