Cause and Effect Graphic Organizers

3-5· 6-8· All Freebies· PK-2

Howdy Classroom Freebie friends! Jen Bradshaw here from Teacher KARMA. 🙂 So, let’s take a minute to talk about cause and effect. Seems really simple, right? Well,… This is hard, but I have to admit that I really didn’t even understand the concept of cause and effect until I went to college.  Yup.  That’s a little embarrassing to say out loud, especially since I even required my first graders to understand it…..

cause and effect

I always got cause and effect confused.  This is going to sound like…duh…but, as a student, I had to apply it to my own life before I could have a deep understanding of cause and effect. Students must be able to recognize that cause and effect is a HUGE part of their everyday life. I can’t wait to share these graphic organizers that are really going to help out with your student’s reading comprehension, as well as cause and effect.

Best wishes!
