Making Connections to Text Anchor Charts

3-5· 6-8· All Freebies· PK-2

Howdy and welcome to Classroom Freebies! This is Jen Bradshaw here from Teacher KARMA! πŸ™‚Β Want to learn how to put making connections in place in your classroom to improve your students’ reading comprehension skills? Well, I know you just said yes. LOL. While the terminology “making connections” has been around for some time, there are some misconceptions for how to teach it to our kiddos.

What’s also super cool about these strategies is that they will work for ANY CLASSROOM, ANY GRADE LEVEL. I have used these exact comprehension anchor charts in first grade all the way up to sixth grade, and I know you could even go higher (or lower to kindergarten).
