For me, I spent money on fabric for my bulletin boards 5 years ago and I am still using the same fabric today. If something gets splashed on it (you all know this happens when there are kids involved) all I do is take it down and wash it. Using fabric on my bulletin boards has had the greatest decor impact, along with matching labels for everything.
