Math Center Making Five

All Freebies· PK-2

Do you use math centers in your early elementary classroom? It is such a great way to give kids a hands on way to experience the math concepts they need to learn. I love finding ways to use simple manipulatives to help the math ideas make more sense to the students. Some of my favorites to use are pom poms, buttons, play dough, and those oh so cute mini erasers! (Can you really ever have too many??)

Engaging math center for pre-k and kindergarten. #math #kindergarten

This fun new math center is a great way for your budding mathematicians to explore numbers that add up to 5! They will use the question mats and the cookie pictures to fill in the boxes and create the addition number sentences.

This activity is helpful in creating number fluency for your students and will help create a solid base for memorizing addition facts!

It comes in color and black and white, so if you need to save on colored ink, you can just print on colored paper as an alternative!
