The online educator searches Classroom Freebies for Digital Point of View

3-5· All Freebies

New distance learning, remote virtual online teachers- here you go!

Videos teaching point of view must include Flocabulary! This video is addicting. It is FREE to watch the video (the activities to teach point of view that come with a paid subscription are great too though)

One of my favorite point of view lessons is from Teaching with a Mountain view! Using a single picture to help differentiate point of view along with FREE printables makes this a great place to start!

But where can we start to build this into an online platform. Here’s how!

How to Assign a Google Form with Reading Skill

If you are beginning online teacher or distance learning newbie assigning a Google Form is EASY and can be done with a few clicks.

FIRST – Have your form made or use these FREE Reading Skill Forms

Second – Click the + sign to create an assignment

Third – choose the form from your Google Drive to assign!

This video can quickly help you if you are a visual learner and need help!

Point of View in Google Forms

I love how rigorous a Google Form can be! For new online educators just navigating Google Classroom can be scary but once you learn – how powerful!

Seeing instant results in one click from students as these are self-checking. Yes built in grading doesn’t get better than that for distance learning!

Listening to a story with text dependent questions is tough! Focusing on specific listening comprehension is essential and even replaying or taking notes to really hone in on the reading skill!

These are truly a reflection of student knowledge and understanding!

How Easy! Instant feedback about a reading skill. Follow up with questions that were missed more frequently. Use these throughout the year!

Grab your FREE Sample of 5 Reading Skill forms – including point of view, inferring, character traits, theme, and summarizing all one click copied to your Google Drive! You can see the Inferring information or Summarizing or Character Traits already!
