Elements of Art – Free Shape Worksheets

The elements of art are included in every state visual art standards. The Elements of Art are the building blocks of art and these worksheets will help you in the classroom by supporting student learning about the element of shape.

Students identify and draw shapes in Matisse’s collage, “Anfitrite,” 1947. Then draw their own shapes inspired by the ocean. Finally students create their own underwater shape design and color using a color scheme of their choice.
