Using a Summer Reading Log freebie will help with the summer slump?

The SUMMER SLUMP, aka Summer Slide, is a very real thing! One of the very best ways you can keep your kiddos reading and learning all summer long is using a FREE Printable Summer Reading Log.

Why is reading in the summer important for students?

Students who don’t read during the summer vacation can lose up to three months of learning and reading skills. That is like students not learning anything in March, April, and May of the school year. YIKES!

Then when they come back to school behind in reading, they have to spend the first three months of the school year relearning and doing tons of extra reading practice just to get back to where they should be with their reading levels.

So, let’s avoid all that summer slump drama and download the FREE Summer Reading Logs and keep your students engaged and excited to learn.

Thanks!
